Vena Announces Commencement of Aurora (Cu/Mo Porphyry) Drilling Campaign

July 25, 2005-- Toronto, Ontario -- Vena Resources Inc. (TSX.V: VEM & BVL: VEM) announces that it has begun a 2000 meter drilling campaign at its Aurora copper-molybdenum property in Cuzco Department, Peru. One of the holes will be at least 600 meters long and will be drilled adjacent to Bear Creek Hole #5 (drilled in the late 1990’s) to test the continuity of the mineralization at depth. For more information on the confirmed re-assays on Bear Creek’s Hole #5, please refer to Vena’s June 8th press release available on the Company’s website www.venaresources.com. As shown in the figure below, the previous holes all finished in mineralization which appears to enrich at depth. All permits and community agreements have been signed and approved. The porphyry system has a surface expression of 1,600 meters by 500 meters and is currently open at depth.
