November 30, 2004-- Toronto, Ontario --Vena Resources Inc. (the "Company") today announced the commencement of a 1200 meter drill program on its Aucapampa gold-copper skarn deposit in the Apurimac region of Peru. The Company has previously completed an extensive program of subcrop sampling and ground geophysics (magnetometry and induced polarization). This previous work identified some surface anomalies of 4 grams per tonne gold and up to 4% copper and forms the basis of an approved National Instrument 43-101 report submission which can be obtained from the Company's website (http://www.venaresources.com).
The Company has identified 4 large geophysical anomalies which will be tested by this preliminary drill program and it is anticipated that a follow-up drill program will provide in-fill information prior to making a resource calculation. Drilling results will be announced as they become available.
